Junior HVAC & Black Utilities Engineer | Belgium

We are seeking a Junior HVAC & Black Utilities Engineer to join our office in Nivelles, Belgium. Our project engineers actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of those projects can include multiple phases and/or disciplines.

Your Challenge:

  • Actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions, delivering the client the more than the satisfactory quality of the service;
  • Manage small tasks with autonomy and support other Project Managers, helping with:

o Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall Time Schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan;

o Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement, cost control;

o Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Civil or industrial engineer, specialization can be Civil, HVAC, Structural, electromechanical, Electricity, Automation, Safety, Process, Bio or Architecture
  • Experience : 0 - 2 years

Skills:

Our Junior Project Engineers need to be team players. They are open to new ideas and think out of the box, with ability of:

  • Being rigorous and organized, they are able to work accurately;
  • Being flexible and have good adaptive capacities in order to acclimatize fast to different working conditions and multiple project environments;
  • Understanding the importance of prevention and safety in our work and behave as exemplarily;
  • Unless for smaller projects, the Junior Project Engineer has no direct responsibility towards the client.

Languages:

Professional English and Fench/Dutch (fluent both spoken and written). Knowledge of other languages is an asset.

Other:

  • Software knowledge: MS Office, MS Project, Autocad or Vector Works
  • Driver license B
