Management Training
Industrial Project
Management starts with Project definition and ends
with the long-term satisfaction of the user.
To succeed as Project Manager all steps during the
Project Life Cycle have to be completed successfully.
IPS trainings
include - among other things - a general approach
for definition, planning and executing of projects.
Training content is the result of accumulated project
experience.
The seminars
are divided into presentations, theory and practical
exercises. In the theoretical part, the definition
of a project, all necessary methods, documents and
strategies are presented. The theorety is then implemented
in practical training exercises.
During the training, the “Circle of Training” -
principle from Kolb is implemented:
The following sketch illustrates the main training
principle:

The
above steps encompass the following main topics and
combine different training methods:
Training - by simulation of a planning process
using individual steps and methods of project management
that will be described and directly tested (“Doing”
and “Reviewing”),
Theory inputs - by procurement of goal-oriented
problem-solving strategies for complex problems, as
well as from technology point-of-view (“Concluding”)
and
Transfer service - by inclusion of the experiences
of participants in trainings and transmission of learned
contents of actual projects to the rest of group (“Testing”).
