Description
Toyota Motor Europe has been in a key position
in the European car industry for several decades.
Toyota’s strategy for the European market
has led to the creation of several production
and assembling units, and units for logistic
support.
At present, three logistic projects have been
realised by Toyota: two vehicle yards and a
warehouse for spare parts (Conversion &
Accessory). This project sheet details
the warehouse project.
Toyota constructed a spare parts warehouse with
a footprint of 7000 to 8000 m2 and a mezzanine
of 1400m2. The internal logistic organisation
will be based on the existing know-how provided
by Toyota. The project scope includes
a warehouse with access routes, loading and
unloading structures, an administrative
unit and utilities.
Product description:
The parts arrive by truck and are unloaded
in the yard. These parts are then stored in
the warehouse until they are shipped to the
dealers.
The offices and technical rooms are integrated
in the same building.
Extension possibilities will be foreseen at
the north and the East side.
