Description

HECKETT-MULTISERV, specialized in services to the metallurgic industry, received an order from DUFERCO LA LOUVIERE for the construction and exploitation of a coil yard for hot rolled coils. The project is named « COIL MANAGEMENT DUFERCO LA LOUVIERE ».The Civil Works (hall construction included) will be realised by DUFERCO. All of the equipment for coil manipulation, logistics and informatics are done by HECKETT-MULTISERV. HECKETT-MULTISERV participates in the general management of the project, which also includes the works done by DUFERCO. The construction of the coil yard is to be carried out without interrupting the production of the hot mill.

Product description:

The coil yard consists of a covered section (222m x 30m approx.) and an outside section. Equipment for coil transport between the halls of the hot roll rolling mill and the yard (walking beam) is installed by DUFERCO. At the end of the hall, a workshop is located for rectification of damaged coils.
