IPS
is a multinational group with offices in Germany,
Bulgaria, Spain and China.
We provide industry-oriented engineering and
project management services to multinational
corporations and SME’s. We focus on developing
and implementing high-end methods for strategic
consultancy and financing, project preparation,
project realisation and interim management for
industry.
We have developed activities
in several industrial sectors (steel, food,
aluminium, chemistry, energy, pharmacy, environment…)
IPS was founded in 1992 and has gathered an
impressive array of customers such as GlaxoSmithKline,
Arcelor, Corus, Volkswagen, Tessenderlo Chemie,
Toyota Motor Europe, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp Stahl,
Hamon, Stora, BWG, Sundwig and many others.
IPS is currently participating
in the Companhia Siderurgica do Atlantico (CSA)
project – construction of a steel slab plant
near Rio de Janeiro. |

Description of the Position (Duties and
Responsibilities) |
- Project Management: project preparation
and project realization
- Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of
pumps and hydraulics
- Detailed analysis of functional processes
and proposing the most efficient solution
- Location Brazil; office in Sao Paulo
or Rio de Janeiro, with country-wide projects
- Member of CREA

Job Requirements |
- Brazilian national
- Mechanical Engineer with a minimum (1
year) of practical experience
- PC-literate
- Driving license
- Frequent business travel
- Languages: Portuguese and English (very
good). Knowledge of other languages is a
definite plus.
- Some experience in project management
for industry, experience in working for
a multinational or European company is an
advantage
You are assertive, flexible,
creative, communicative, motivated and well-organised.
You are willing and able to take initiative,
and you are also a team player.
As a representative of IPS at the customer’s,
you know how to be diplomatic and discreet,
without neglecting the interests of IPS. |
