Group-IPS organizes a
second Jobday
in the CC on April 11-th, 2008. Last
year we have hired 5 engineers through different
jobdays in universities.
It is a unique
opportunity to get to know each
other, both professionally and informally. The
goal of the workshop is to give the students a
realistic project to work on and to present the
results at the end of the day.

together with its colleague Adel Choubassi, created
its new company IPS Middle East in Beirut. IPS
Middle East will cover industrial and real estate
projects in the whole of the Middle East combining
its long term competences in project management
and engineering with strong knowledge of the regional
specific needs. |

The
5th session of the Project Preparation training
in the IPS Technological Center from November
20-24 has been a complete success. During the
traditional Thursday's concert which this time
has been a Gospel evening Luc Tasiaux has presented
Ralf Keller as the new Managing Director of IPS
Germany GmbH. After many years of project work,
Ralf had been successfully assisting the management
since 2003. His new appointment is the natural
next step in his carreer and has been appreciated
by the colleagues during the (also traditional)
afterparty of the concert. |

Belgium successfully moved into the brand new
IPS Competence Center. It's a small schock going
from 200 m2 to 1600 m2 in one step, but within
a few days we will be fully accomodated. |

IPS do Brasil is starting its activities in Sao
Paolo, after a team of 6 has performed a first
project assignment in Rio. Frank Goris will be
responsible for the company development in Brasil
as from this month. IPS do Brasil joins our group
to reinforce our presence in South America. |

9-th of August, IPS USA Corporation has been created.
From Charleston, West-Virginia, Group-IPS will
help US industrial and real estate corporations
to realize their projects successfully in the

China and Brasil. |

in Eisenhüttenstadt, Germany.
We had 17 new staff members (from Germany, Belgium,
China, Bulgaria and Spain) participating. We were
also pleased to welcome at the training sessions
3 customers and partners. It has been an energetic
and intensive week, including a splendid concert. |

plant in Bernburg was held. A large number of
guests, among them also the Minister for business
and employment of Saxonia Anhalt, the district
administrator and the mayor of Bernburg, had followed

GmbH opens extension
of Technological Center and celebrates
its 10th anniversary.
IPS GmbH welcomed on Saturday over 160 friends
and partners to its 10th anniversary celebration,
which coincided with the opening of the extension
of its Technological Center. Economics Minister
for the State of Brandenburg, Mr. Ulrich Junghanns,
and Mr. Rainer Werner, Mayor of Eisenhuttenstadt,
were among the official speakers to congratulate
IPS Germany with its birthday. Entertainment
was provided through a classical concert
by Mrs. Ann Cauwenberghs and Lipsius Trio,
followed by a "dinner dance" in
the new extension. |

Commissioning
of Coil's Line 5 in Bernburg reaches its final
phase.
The 20 Mio investment in a new production
plant in Bernburg (Saxony - Anhalt) by Coil
(see
www.coil.be) will be completed by the
end of 2004. Last Friday, the line was ready
to start the process testing. IPS GmbH, responsible
for the project preparation, project management,
automation, recruitment, training and interim
plant management is working hard together
with the staff and the main contractors (SMS
Demag, Enviro-Chemie) to start production
trials this week. |

Location
of the IPS s.a. Competence Center has been
decided.
The IPS s.a. Competence Center will be situated
in the new 84ha Business Park "Les Portes
de l'Europe" in Nivelles, Brussels South.
On 26.11.04 an agreement was set up between
IBW (Intercommunale Brabant Wallon) and IPS
s.a. to purchase a 5.000 m2 plot with 2.000
m2 option for future extension. The construction
will start in March 2005. First

Group-IPS
s.a. is created in Luxembourg as parent company
of the whole group.
The Luxembourg office is responsible for the
group's central administration. A branch office
is opened in Belgium, Overijse and covers
Strategy and Development. Shareholders are
the founder of the group, Luc Tasiaux (92
%), together with Jacques Lataire (4 %), manager
of IPS s.a. Belgium, and Ines Jurk (4%), manager
of IPS GmbH Germany. |

Extension
of the IPS GmbH Technological Center has been
completed.
The Successful IPS Technological Center, which
has been operational since September 2002
has been extended with a 300 m2 project room
which at the same time is a professional conference
room with videoconferencing, simultaneous
translation, Audio-Video etc. Inauguration
of the extension will take place on December
11 with, according to tradition, a classical
concert. |
